HELP!!!

Help guys!! Last night whilst playing with X white the game suddenly glitched then went blank with the following message appearing

An error has occourred. Press the eject button, remove the game disk and turn off the power to the console. Please read the wii manual for further instruction.

I have turned the console on and off numerous times, left it overnight and the game refuses to even load to the main menu now. I just keep getting the same message.

It even does the same things with other games now. I have read that this is a regular occourence to black ops users, but I cant find a solution.

The wii has been kept in pristene condition as it is not just mine, its the whole familys. I cannot afford another wii and will be really annoyed if the black ops updates have fecked my console.

Please advise.

Merry [X]mas guys.

As you all know its my birthday today and with all the hard work ive been putting in trying to reach my challenge of moving up a prestige level by the new year, I have not had time to post on here for a few days. Heres an interesting guide to noobtown, sorry nuketown I copied and pasted.

In this article, I will be revealing the best Black Ops Nuketown gameplay tactics so you can start dominating on this map.

Map Overview

Nuketown is one of the most popular maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops, so study well and expect to play it often.

This is one of the smallest maps in game and as a result, expect to see a lot of action. Games on this map rarely last for more than 5 minutes.

Here is a picture:

Spawning Areas and Camping Spots

Players spawn at the north and south ends of the map. One of the best places to hang out is in the starting area (the gardens marked by the red and green insignias on the map), as you can pick off players as they spawn.

Many times an entire team will spawn at once, making this area and exciting place to be in. Make sure your back is against the wall if you want to stand a chance, as players will be spawning constantly.

Know that this works both ways. If the enemy team is camped in your spawning area, and your team is battling them, and they kill most of your team, the spawn areas will actually switch sides.

You can spawn in your spawning area and 15 seconds later have the enemy team spawning there. Many players try to camp on around the two main houses only to get surprised from behind when the spawn areas switch.

Best Nuketown Weapons

Since this is a very small map, you want to stick to sub-machine guns, shotguns, and perhaps an Assault Rifle if that is your preferred playstyle.

As mentioned above, long-range shots from one building to across the map are not very viable given the tendency of the spawning points to switch. It is possible with a bit of teamwork (on Team Deathmatch), but only if your team can secure one of the buildings given how many entrances each one has.

I think a silencer is one of the best weapon attachments on this map, especially when combined with Sleight of Hand.

Best Nuketown Perks and Weapon Combos

On this map, you rarely have time to aim, especially if you are participating in the melee that is the spawning areas at either end of the map. If you do like to aim when shooting, make sure you grab Sleight of Hand Pro, because you will need the increase in aiming speed to survive in the face-to-face combat this map provides.

My favorite combo is grabbing a submachine gun (such as AK47U, depending on your level), grabbing Lightweight, Steady Aim, and Second Chance, and then attaching a silencer or Dual Wielding (your preference).

Lightweight is amazing at this level if you are good at strafing (moving side to side), and with Steady Aim and a sub machine gun, your accuracy from the hip is actually quite good, and you do not need to aim anywhere in the spawning areas or buildings (where most of the fighting takes places).

Nuketown Strategy

With some practice strafing, you can kill 99% of players in a head-to-head fight when shooting from the hip (i.e. not aiming) with the combos mentioned above.

Remember that players will simply try to aim and shoot you, which is very hard if you are moving side to side, so strafing is key. Moving front to back does not help; moving the crosshairs up or down a little bit is easy. It is a lot harder side to side!

Hang out in the north and south areas of the map and strafe against other players without aiming. With a bit of practice, it works amazingly well and you will dominate this map.

The rest of the guide can be found by clicking here.

I however have a different strategy of dealing with nuketown. Follow these 3 easy steps and you will no longer have the frustration:

1. Once the level starts press button (1)

2. Scroll down to Leave game.

3. Press (A)

Problem solved!

You can now go get on with some PROPER gameplay in a PROPER level that is not the size of a matchbox designed for those relying on luck rather than skill to get points.

Have a merry [X]mas guys

(Can you tell I dont like Noobtown)

Moving on up

Last night I progressed like never before. Still needing to unlock my strella at level 30 in order to acheve all the challenges and unlock ghost pro, I decided, on advice from Black, to temporarily swap my perk 1 to hardline. This enables you to get each killstreak a kill faster. I am not normally the best person at aquiring killstreaks but I acheved the chopper twice in 2 games and my care packages ond spy planes countless times.
Having done this and whilst rotating my guns to get maximum points I managed to move up from level 12 to level 23 in a matter of an hour and a half. The best part was that whilst playing domination I moved from level 17 to level 22 in a matter of 3 games!
Encouraged on by my recent success I have set a new challenge of riding the wave of noobs Christmas will bring, to prestige by the new year.

My most used Class

After seeing [X] Silver list his class I thought I would do the same. This is my most typical class.

1. M60 with Grip attachment

2. Strella 3

3. Semtex

4. Concussion

5. Claymore

6. Ninja Pro

7. Steady Aim Pro

8. Second Chance Pro

M60 vs Stoner 63

A lot of people bypass the m60 when it is made available and go straight to the stoner, but I actually prefer the M60. The reasons for this are:

1. It has a greater mag capacity of 100 which although it takes longer to reload you usually can outshoot someone.

2. The grip attachment. This makes it a lot more steadier and accurate and is the only gun to have it in the LMG class.

3. The fire rate is awesome.

4. Its a lot clearer to see the crosshairs when firing from the hip, as the bridge gets in the way on the stoner.

5. It historically went on to become the M60E4, the best gun in Reflex.

6. Whereas the stoners damage level is 40 no matter the distance, the M60 is 50 if less than 25m and then drops to 40 afterwards. In fact its the only LMG to have damage power above 40 at ANY distance.

Do you agree with me?

About [X] Green

Having known X Black and X Blue for some years, they invited me to join the X team on Reflex. Being relatively new, training to the required level for X team took some time but with such good mentors as black and blue it was worth it. I have now firmly established myself on Black Ops.

My role in X team is to provide cover from air attacks and espionage. Moving under ninja pro I use my strela 3 to shoot down any enemy spy place or attack chopper, leaving it safe for X team to proceed. Due to my job in the team my kill death ratio isnt always as glorious as I would wish but, its worth it so the X team can win and advance. Which we always do.

For my main weapon I usually switch between all light machine guns in the class but tend to use the M60 with grip and steady aim pro, most frequently.

Although I am not on as much as some other members of the X team I manage to get in at least 5 or 6 hours a week mainly on team deathmatch.
